About Julia Keller

Julia Keller was born in New Haven, Connecticut on May 24, 1967. She attended the University of Massachusetts on an athletic scholarship and graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in history and legal studies. She earned her law degree from the Western New England College School of Law in 1995. Later that same year, she came to the Tidewater Area where she served in the Navy as a Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General's Corps. Since completing her service in the Navy, Ms. Keller has handled a wide variety of criminal and civil cases, including personal injury, divorce, custody, visitation and support, wills, traffic and contract disputes.

Ms. Keller is admitted to practice law in Virginia, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the United States Bankruptcy Court (same district). She is also a member of the Virginia Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association and the Virginia Beach Bar Association.

Attorney Keller and her husband, Mark, a naval aviator, have two sons, Max, age three, and Jackson, age two. Ms. Keller’s hobbies include running, wakeboarding and cooking.
